About the Journal
University of Baguio Multidisciplinary Research Journal (UBMRJ) is an open-access and double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the University of Baguio through the Research Innovation Extension and Community Outreach (RIECO) office, which caters to various disciplines. This journal is a part of the University of Baguio’s institutional research agenda and publication system, established to promote ethical scholarly communication, rigorous peer review, and unrestricted access to high-quality research outputs produced by local, national, and international scholars.
The UBMRJ adheres to an open access system to which all users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the journal or the author.
AIMS and SCOPE
The University of Baguio Multidisciplinary Research Journal (UBMRJ) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that publishes original research articles across a broad range of disciplines, including but not limited to:

- Cultural Studies.
The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research that contributes to national development, regional studies, and global scholarly discourse.
The journal employs rigorous double-blind review by at least two independent reviewers. to ensure high-quality scholarly work. Reviewers provide constructive feedback to support the improvement of manuscript quality before publication. Final acceptance is based on scholarly merit, originality, and compliance with international academic and ethical standards.
Publication Frequency. This journal has 4 issues in a year, published every March, June, September, and December. It follows a continuous submission and acceptance system. Articles accepted after the quarterly issue cutoff are published online as “online first” articles and are subsequently included in the next available issue.
